Same state — tax split into CGST + SGST
Pakka Books uses AI to read the paperwork that usually takes hours to key in, then checks every figure with plain arithmetic. Whatever it fills in is marked, and nothing is saved until you say so.
Vendor, GSTIN, items and tax from a PDF or a photo, with the sums checked.
Buyer, items, prices and every consignee, with an invoice drafted for each.
Each payment matched to the invoice or bill it settles, TDS shortfalls flagged.
How the AI is used: the app reads a file with its own code first. When that isn't sure, or for photos and PDFs it can't read, it asks Google's Gemini. You review the result before anything is saved.
Sums checked: taxable + tax = total
Pick the customer, add items. Tax splits into CGST + SGST or IGST by place of supply, the number series never breaks, and a UPI QR rides on every bill.
Drop in a supplier's PDF or a photo. Vendor, GSTIN, items and tax fill in, are checked, and add to your stock once you approve.
Output tax, input credit and what you've paid, plus GSTR-1 sections and the HSN summary as CSV for your CA.
Add transport details once and download the file the portal expects. The number prints on the invoice.
Staff see only their own invoices, your accountant sees everything, nobody changes what you don't allow.
Monthly rent, retainers and standing orders raise themselves on the day, and can be emailed to the customer automatically.
Upload the statement. Each credit and debit is matched to the invoice or bill it settles, even several at once, and short payments that look like TDS are flagged.
Upload an approved GeM contract. Buyer, items, prices and every consignee are read, an invoice is drafted for each place you ship to, and the tracker shows ordered, delivered and still to collect.
Scan a bill with the phone camera. Your pages stay on the phone when the signal drops.
Figures shown are samples. Locked items come with the Advanced and Enterprise plans.
Fast invoices at the counter, supplier bills that add themselves to stock, and GST that is ready on the 10th.
Bill of materials and production entries, raw-material stock from purchase bills, and profit on every invoice.
Approved GeM contracts become invoices per consignee, with delivery receipts and a tracker of what's left.
Their own login, every figure in one place, GSTR-1 data and HSN summaries as CSV, and an activity log of who did what.
Tell us about your business. Once approved you get your own, empty Pakka Books at yourname.pakkabooks.com.
Add your GSTIN, address, bank and UPI details and your logo. Every invoice uses them.
Make invoices, drop in supplier bills, and download the figures your CA needs.
The Android app opens like any other app, scans a supplier's bill with the phone camera, and keeps your pages on the phone — so the next time the signal drops, the work doesn't.
Not on Google Play: you install the app file straight from here. Open the downloaded file and, if Android asks, allow installs from your browser. Works on Android 6 and newer.
People join by invitation, each with a role that limits what they can see and change.
Add an authenticator app, and a stolen password alone can't open your books.
Every connection to Pakka Books is encrypted, and passwords are stored hashed, never as plain text.
Bills, logos and signatures sit in private storage, served only to people who are signed in with access.
Basic is free for one business and 10 sales invoices. Advanced is ₹5,100 a month and Enterprise is ₹21,000 a month, both free for the first 14 days.

Yes. AI reads your supplier bills, approved contracts and bank statements so you don't type them in. The app reads a file with its own code first and checks every figure with plain arithmetic; when it isn't sure, or for photos and PDFs it can't read, it asks Google's Gemini. Nothing is saved until you have reviewed it.
It's built for businesses that sell goods in India: tax invoices with HSN codes, CGST + SGST or IGST worked out from the place of supply, delivery challans and e-way bill files. Service-only invoicing works too, but goods are where it's strongest.
No. Unregistered businesses can issue bills of supply, and composition dealers are supported. If you are registered, GST is worked out for you.
Drop in a supplier's PDF, or photograph the bill. Pakka Books reads the vendor, GSTIN, bill number, dates, tax and line items, and checks that the numbers add up. PDFs are read on our servers; hard photos and scans can be double-checked with Google's Gemini. You always review the result before saving.
Advanced and Enterprise are free for the first 14 days. After that they are billed per month — until then there is nothing to pay and no card to enter. Basic stays free: one business and up to 10 sales invoices.
One business and up to 10 sales invoices, with customers, products, quotes, delivery challans, purchase bills read by AI, GST reports and the Android app. Recurring invoices, bank matching and contracts come with the paid plans.
Yes. Invite them with their own login and give them the Accountant role: they see everything and can download reports, but can't change your invoices.
The Android app keeps its screens on the phone, so you can open the pages you've visited and capture a bill photo offline. Issuing an invoice needs internet, because GST invoice numbers must run in one unbroken series.
The invoice is already prepared in the government's e-invoice format. Connecting to the e-invoice portal through a GST Suvidha Provider is on the way.
